Geocache Description:

Holyoke Range, Massachusetts; Just East of Taylor Notch, where the Metacomet/Monadnock trail crosses the road to the summit. Short steep climb, not too bad (watch for ice in winter). Located OFF the trail, south of where the trail passes. Make sure you take in the great view at the top of the initial climb. The cache is located UNDER some loose rocks at the base of a small rock outcropping.

This is the RAMcache! Update 2023-12-31 - I understand the cache is in a state of disrepair and I truly appreciate all of the efforts by you various finders. Last year I discovered much to my chagrin that I am very allergic (as in potentially fatally) to hornet stings. After a stay in the hospital and an EpiPen prescription, I need to limit my off-trail bushwhacking to the late autumn/winter/early spring seasons where I am very unlikely to encounter a hornet nest... they are everywhere. The one that put me in the hospital was in a rose bush beside our normal walkway. So I have every intention of resurrecting this cache, but I have certain limitations now that make it difficult to do so in a timely fashion. Many, many thanks to those of you who help with the maintenance of this cache. May your 2024 be filled to the brim with found caches and discovered blessings. - DX ORIGINAL: --STILL GOING AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! (22 years as of February 2023.) Thanks to all you GCers for making this such a long-lived and active cache! Much thanks to Clan Delaney for some maintenance when it needed it, I am appreciative of your stewardship to the cache! I did intend to replace goods and container, so now I'll only need recheck it all!

Original description: RAMCache now contains RAM SIMMs, both 30 and 72 pin, for both Mac (Quadra & others) and PC(386, 486, P1 & P2), from 1MB to 32MB. You can use them to upgrade your old computer, otherwise they make great cool zipper-pulls! The cache also contains interesting items left by others. I always keep the business cards, though... There is also a log book to record your name, where you are from, and comments. I always read the cache reports and love to see new finders report in.
