Chuguy: Apparently the cache has been muggled and it will not be replaced. It was a good, long run.

My hiking partner and I saw one on this trek will you? Located in a park in the foothills of Mt. Diablo, this cache is about 2¼ miles from the parking area. This easy hike will first take you through the backyards of posh homes and then onto vistas with Mt. Diablo, China Wall (a short, easy detour), and Castle Rocks, the nesting place of various raptors. If it's a hot day, bring plenty of water since the trails are mostly in the open. Since the cache site can be reached by multiple trails, I would suggest that you get a trail map at the parking area located at N 37° 52.246 W 122° 00.601. From there, you might also want to start your hike from the trailhead located at N37° 52.256 W122° 00.523. After about 2 miles you will come to a junction of multiple trails, one of which is named after the type of trees pictured in the attached photo. From that trail sign, the cache is located slightly over a ¼ mile away cross-country. If you take the right cow path, you shouldn't get too many stickers. Be forewarned as you make your way to the cache that sly and mischievous puddy tat could be stalking you! Have fun, be safe and tread lightly! The multi-colored cache container is about 8" x 6" x 3" deep and is inside a black plastic bag. The initial contents were: Log book A "slam-me" toy (it would be nice if this could travel to other caches) A spin-top candy holder Air freshener Tiger pen Catmint seed packet (this is a beautiful perennial that both cats and humans love) Catnip puffs A gold medal for the 1st person to find the cache Misc. items
