There is an incredible expanse of slickrock that frames the
rockpile called Lawson Peak, which is visible to the west of the
cache location. You'll get a chance to wander around on the
slickrock as you find the best approach to GZ. Bring a good book to
exchange for one of the books in the cache.
This cache is accessed from the
"
Barber Road Trailhead." The road is open for hiking, bicycling,
and horseback riding. Wear your old clothes for this cache, since
you'll more than likely get covered with soot from the burned
vegetation. Also, please look out for snakes in the warm months,
and bring plenty of water during hot weather.
