The fourth one of a new geocaching series at Rubí, a city of dream, or of insomnia....
Amb aquest geoamagatall ARPAMUNROC continua una petita sèrie de geoamagatalls de la bonica i desconeguda vila de Rubí, una ciutat de somni, o insomni.... És un geoamagatall situat en un entorn urbà, molt accessible i fàcil de fer.
Rubí és, si es sap buscar bé, una ciutat de somni: té, com qualsevol altra vila, la seva història i les seves tradicions, les seves coses maques i molts racons per descobrir. Però també pot ser d’insomni: arquitectura desafortunada, urbanisme inhumà, manteniment urbà deficient, incivisme, etc. Aquesta sèrie vol mostrar-vos ambdós aspectes. Podeu estar d’acord, o no, amb la idoneïtat dels llocs escollits. L’únic que pretenem és que no us quedeu indiferents i que, en tot cas, conegueu alguna cosa més d’aquesta insigne vila.
El mes d’abril de 2009, quan les arques municipals estaven ben curulles, es va posar la primera pedra d’aquest equipament esportiu. Gairebé dos anys i mig més tard l’alcaldessa de torn va inaugurar aquest pavelló de somni, amb 4700 m2 construïts amb un cost reconegut de 5,2 milions d’euros finançats per la Generalitat, l’Ajuntament i el Fons Estatal per a l’Ocupació i la Sostenibilitat Local (FEOSL), també conegut com a “Plan Zapatero”. D’aspecte modern i espectacular, el seu disseny permet la pràctica de diversos esports de forma paral·lela en un únic espai polivalent de 62 x 35 m. que es pot dividir en tres zones independents per practicar esports que necessiten pistes amb mides més reduïdes. Especialment està preparat i homologat per a la pràctica de l’hoquei en línia. A més compta amb 6 vestidors, magatzems, infermeria, una sala polivalent, serveis públics, un espai de restauració i les graderies amb capacitat per a 629 espectadors. A l’exterior hi ha un escanyolit parc arbrat, una zona d’aparcament per a una norantena de vehicles (ben estretets, això si...) i un fantàstic rocòdrom per practicar l’escalada. La qüestió és la següent: tindrà l’Ajuntament diners per al manteniment d’aquest magnífic equipament?.
Just al costat podeu veure la rehabilitada (en part...) Masia de Can Serra, bonica i sòlida construcció de la qual es té referència escrita des de l’any 1230. Després d’haver passat per diversos propietaris, i amb diferents usos, a finals del segle XX va passar a ser de propietat municipal i es va fer una primera restauració. Ha tingut usos d’escola taller, casa d’oficis i el seu voltant s’ha fet servir de “magatzem” (o abocador) municipal. Actualment està pendent d’una nova rehabilitació que l’ha de convertir en un viver d’empreses relacionades amb les energies renovables i l’eficiència energètica. Quan hi hagin els 776.000 euros pressupostats (je, je, je...).
El geoamagatall és molt accessible i fàcil de fer. No cal entrar a dins del recinte del pavelló. Porteu llapis i deixeu-lo ben tancat.

This ARPAMUNROC geocaching is other one of a small series of the unknown and beautiful town of Rubí, a city of dreams, or insomnia .... The geocaching is located in an urban environment, very accessible and easy to do.
Rubí is, if you know for well, a city of dream is like any other town its history and its traditions, its pretty places and many places to discover. But it also may be insomnia: architecture unfortunate, inhuman urbanism, urban poor maintenance, uncivil behavior, etc. This series aims to show you both. You can agree or not with the appropriateness of the chosen sites. All we want is that you will not remain indifferent and, in any case, know something more of this famous town.
In April 2009, when municipal coffers were well laden, he laid the first stone of the sports pavilion. Almost two and a half years later the mayor opened the pavilion of dreams, with 4700 m2 at a cost of 5.2 million euro recognized funded by the Catalonia Government, the City Council and the State Fund for the Employment and Local Sustainability (FEOSL), also known as "Plan Zapatero". With a modern and spectacular design allows the practice of sports in parallel on a single multi-purpose area of 62 x 35 m. that can be divided into three separate areas for sports that require playing fields with smaller sizes. Next door you can see the restored (in part ...) Masia de Can Serra, beautiful and solid catalan construction which reference has written since 1230. Having gone through several owners and uses, in the late twentieth century became municipal property and became the first restoration. Had use of school workshops, home offices and has been used around the "store" (or landfill) municipal. Currently awaiting a new rehabilitation has become a business incubator associated with renewable energy and energy efficiency. When the City Council has budgeted € 776,000 (je, je, je ...).
