Herds of dinosaurs once roamed what is now the Connecticut River
Valley. This cache was set so that you may view their tracks. The
footprints were uncovered during the construction of Route 5. With
your help, these tracks will be preserved for future generations.
The cache is a small round container a short distance east of the
dinosaur tracks and south of the stream. The cache placed so that
it is not visible from the new trail. This is a popular area so
please re-hid it as you found it.
The container started with assorted dinosaur related trinkets. On a
previous maintainance visit I recorded an average latitude reading
of N 42 14.571; longitude was unchanged.
