I wrapped a p-nut butter jar with cammo tape and laid it on the ground.
I spotted a side trail just before the Cherry Creek Trail intersected the Middle Matilija Trail. Where does this go?

It goes almost exactly .11 miles from the two nearest caches and then it stops in a peculiarly barren "traffic circle". Looks like even doers have been coming here to spin circles. At least its better than going to the Little League Fields.

Found this with Ventura Kids during a pre-Thanksgiving 120+ cache day along the 33. It was a great day with perfect weather.

Thanks for the cache.

We tried to drive up the skinny road, but it was just a tiny bit too skinny. We didn't want to scratch up our Xterra. We had fun testing out our new sliders on the first tall bump. We took a couple tries to get over it without high-centering. We finally just parked and walked up the road. Found it.

In Los Padres National Forest
On a cold and breezy morning
A tough hike down in the valley
Of which there was no warning

Arrived and the gate was wide open
Started at sunrise and finished at sunset
Eighty-one caches and only two DNFs
‘Twas going to be a hike I’ll never forget

‘Twas almost ten miles of downhill
All nine of us were very prepared
A few crossings of a stream so cold
And a trail of rocks and dust we shared

Thanks for placing this trail of caches out here - we had a blast and are still recovering!

As the Geo_Connections' 2009 Magical Mystery Ojai Road Tour continues, we all wondered about why this (not the cache) was here. Found at 9:00 a.m.

Nice hike before the hike. I think we could have driven up to the cache but we didn't know there was a place to turn around. And we were close to parking for our hike. Thanks for the cache.
