Every dog has its day. Today is Lily's, our German Shorthaired Pointer, very first birthday. Silvermine is a special place for her so what could we do but leave a little doggie cache on her behalf?
This cache has a particular target, but we decided (after much deliberation) not to place the cache at this target location. We'd like you to make it to the target - S34° 06.010, S018° 25.746 - anyway, and enjoy the bliss in this spot. The cache itself is at the coordinates listed at the top of the page, a short distance away from the target - and possibly a better place to be at during the middle of a Cape Winter! The cache can (and indeed MUST BE) reached without trampling the vegetation. Please hop along the rocks to make your way to the cache.
Lily would like only doggie things to be traded at this cache site. Please also note that furry friends are allowed in Silvermine, but you require a Wildcard these days. Strange, but true!
