Third installment of a series of caches to lead you up the fire
roads of Griffith Park.
Now that Griffith Park has experienced significant regrowth since
the fire of 2007 that destroyed 800 acres, it's time to repopulate
the caches on this side of the hill.
Cache is a cammoed pill bottle.
Be sure to check out GOOGLE MAPS SATELLITE IMAGES, to see how
the area was devastated by the fire.

October 24 by Lwbabcock (123 found) Out with a bunch of boys for a birthday party and found this one. Very fun to see the old LA Zoo area! TFTC.
[view this log] | October 1 by Team Perks (5548 found) You know, all these years I've lived in L.A., and been going to Griffith Park and the zoo...and I'd still never actually seen the old zoo. Well, I was pleased to discover that my wanderings between "Old Zoo View "and this cache took me right past many of the old enclosures. I had no idea there was so much left here! This is exactly why geocaching can be so amazing sometimes. Thanks!!
