A short hike through state game land featuring wide trails, small streams, ponds, minor off-trail bushwacking and some really nice nearby hills to climb.
Welcome to the Old Robinson's Pond multi-cache. The pond was drained many years ago and the regrowth of the area is nearly complete. We hope you enjoy your hike and suggest that you bring your spotting glasses, camera and curiosity as this area has a bounty of wildlife to view. Please observe state gameland rules and regulations including wearing required blaze orange during big game seasons. This is pet friendly area for cachehounds. Boots would be preferable to shoes during winter and spring seasons. Let's begin... Stage 1 "The Stoic Sassafras" Begin by parking at the gamelands parking lot (on Robinson Road) at N41 32.290 W075 26.980 and facing the regulations sign board. Bear north at 331degrees for 140 paces to the trail. Turn left onto the trail and continue to N41 32.422 W075 27.142 for the first micro. Additional instructions await you there.
