Montana Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

LZ33: After paying the $5 to park for maintenance and walking to Montana, I realized I should be paid $5 so the cache is appealing to those visiting the park... Just didn't make since to me at the time, so I grabbed the soaked ammo can and didn't replace it with the dry one. I had to put Montana down a few months back... so it's time to do it again.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in the Cochran Mill Park, a park with several quality caches. This park has as a lot of water with creeks and low lands, with some elevations, trails, old ruins, nature, ETC. This cache is doable in summer but best in the winter. Park hours are 6AM to dusk.

This cache is named after my Dalmatian who loves to come to this area of the park when we are visiting.

This cache will require a short walk of 10 to 15 minutes from the parking area to the cache site. The cache is a smaller sized ammo box filled with a "NO SWAG" theme of contents. The trading items should be something you wouldn't find in any other cache, so clean out those desk draws or pick up those things that have falling between the cracks out in the garage. Please trade even up; nobody likes to find an empty cache. Don't forget to put back the cache just like you found it.

At the posted coordinates you will find a set of eight numbers and refer to them as "X". (They are under the greystone). Do the math problem below and then it's off to Montana's favorite playground in the park and the cache.

“A” Equals 33 34.417
“B” Equals 82670361

To find the missing coordinate take B - X, this will equal “C”. A and C are the coordinates that will get you to the cache.

Remember, water is everywhere (except when drought conditions prevail) and so are the bugs. If you’re hunting the cache when the leaves are out you will be in and out of heavy canopy, so bring boots, pest spray, and be prepared to study your GPS pointer when it has a good signal. Please write your log so it wont give any advantages, this way everyone is hunting as the hider intended, and thanks for being conscience of the consumption of the pages of the logbook.

Please re-hide (cover) like or better than you found the ammo can.
