Geocache Description:

Flat level ground, with parking less than 20 feet away. Difficulty rating due to cache being a dark green magnetic nano, on a large dark green metal Army howitzer...yep it is one of those! It should be accessible from a wheel chair as long as the ground is not muddy.

The youngest of the JonesCrew won this cache container at MOGA last year. We have been waiting for permission to it here. We finally got in touch with the right person and received permission. Warning, this could take a while because of the size and coloring of the cache and the fact that it blends in well. ***NO NEED TO CLIMB ON, OPEN OR UNSCREW anything on the howitzer**** The cache is just a small magnetic container.

This cache is just off of Highway 67. U.S. Route 67 is a 1,560 mile (2,511 km) long north-south U.S. highway in the Midwestern United States. The southern terminus of the route is at the United States-Mexico border in Presidio, Texas, where it continues south as Mexican Federal Highway 16 upon crossing the Rio Grande. The northern terminus is at U.S. Route 52 in Sabula, Iowa.US 67 crosses the Mississippi River twice along its routing. The first crossing is at West Alton, Missouri, where US 67 utilizes the Clark Bridge to reach Alton, Illinois. 240 miles to the north, US 67 crosses the river again at the Rock Island Centennial Bridge between Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa. Additionally, the route crosses the Missouri River via the Lewis Bridge a few miles southwest of the Clark Bridge. There is a book in the works about this highway.

Big thanks to the American Legion for letting us place this one here.
