This year the event will be held at the Bundaberg Botanical
Gardens, and is open to all comers, whether you have had 5 finds or
5000 everyone is welcome. This is a good opportunity to meet your
fellow cachers for just a chat and also a great time to ask any of
those burning questions that you may have regarding equipment,
software or methods, who knows you may even be able to get a clue
or two on that one that is annoying you. There is a play area for
the Little Cachers, and also a Café, tables, BBQs and Toilets in
the area.
There are also a number of new caches in this park that many of
you may not have done. I will also endeavour to place at least one
new one for this event.
Start time
will be 10am sharp for those wishing to do the new cache, and
approx 11am for BYO Brunch.
This area is also home to the newly opened Hinkler Hall of
Aviation, Hinkler House, The Bundaberg Historical Museum and
Fairymead House Sugar Museum, there is also a cane railway that
runs through the gardens. While entry into the gardens is free,
there are charges should you wish to enter any of the above
attractions.
