In Houma, you will find a rich and rare blend of nature that allows for an unimaginable mix of wildlife, found in a few places on earth. Download your passport to keep track of your progress.

If interested, you can enjoy three beautiful attractions. Look for small pill bottle handing in the bushes. Don't forget to grab the game code! Bring a pen to log your find.

Cross the "Venice of America" pedestrian bridge to the Main Street Memorial Park.  This park was designed to provide an impressive Main Street access to the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum, this park features a Marge Ward bronze sculpture, "Native American Mother and Children" in a reflective pond.  A performance area with seating, memorial sites, and a beautiful view of the Bayou Terrebonne completes this park.  The park overlooks sculptural installations in Bayou Terrebonne entitled "Lily Pads" by artists Rusty Bouvier and Brandon Champagne.

Located in Historic Downtown Houma, The Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum preserves the area's long, colorful and historically important cultural and economic ties with the seafood and water transportation industries, as well as other wetlands wand water-based hunting gathering and mining operations. A Cajun band performs on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

In addition, from the same parking lot visit the Acadian Deportation Cross and Map which show the emigration patterns of the Acadians after they were expelled from Canada, it was the first to be installed in the United States.  The monument is one of 37 the Society of National of Affairs of Acadians and is used to mark the landing places of those expelled by the Acadian Deportation. Please seal the container tightly and return to it's original hiding spot.
