Geocache Description:

This is an easy park and grab at the west end of Crags Road in Malibu Creek State Park, although there's not much parking here.

Malibu Creek State Park is one of the crown jewels of the Santa Monica Mountains. Its rugged mountains formed the backdrop for the movie and TV show M*A*S*H. The park is very popular, in part because of it's beauty, but also because of it's many very easy hiking and mountain biking trails.

This cache marks the west end of Crags Road, the main trail that winds through the park and passes the site where M*A*S*H was filmed. There are still relics of the filming in place today.

This cache is at the back door to the park. The main entrance is marked by the cache GC1BR8A "A Horse Of A Different Color" (visit link) . For a detailed trail map and trail descriptions, visit (visit link)
