Add the two numbers in the postcode together, this will be A.
To find B go to N 55.41.925 and W 004.51.315
A stunning view of the rolling hills to the North and the sea to the West await you here. From this view point you will find a memorial to a famous son of West Kilbride.

Here you will find a quaint old building which holds various fairs, fetes and classes for the community.
Outside this building is a small garden (check out the nursery kids garden, which is charming) where you will find an ornamental tree planted by the West Kilbride Horticultural Society to commemorate a special event.
Add the first and the last numbers of the year of this event together which will give you C.
To find D go to N 55.41.643 and W 004.51.597
This will lead you through the Main Street of West Kilbride. This area is the heart of the craft town. There are numerous shops showcasing crafters products such as jewellery, paintings, hand-dyed wool, books, basket weavers etc. (Check related webpage for working hours to avoid disappointment).
Find the Post box in the wall near a West Kilbride Craft Map. What is the top number (Mon-Fri) on the collection box, this will give you D.

As you pass the post office, coffee shop and convenience store you will find the archway to the entrance of Kirktonhall Glen.
The arch is supported by two pillars, each have plaques documenting donations to the good folk of West Kilbride. Each has a different year embossed.
Begin with the left hand plaque.
Add up the four digits on this plaque. This will give you a two digit number. Combine these two digits to get a single digit answer.
Repeat the same process for the right hand plaque.
You will now possess two single digit numbers.
Divide these two numbers to give you E.
To find F go to N 55.41.480 and W 004.51.322
Follow the path into the Glen where you may see various birds and squirrels etc.
There are several benches and you are looking for the one dedicated to Eddie and Cathie. Add up the last three digits of the most recent year to give you F.
To find G make your way to N 55.41.333 W 004.51.169
Wander through the Glen and find the old tractor on the side of the road (photo opportunity for kids).
From here you will see a railway bridge. Calculate the sum total of the seven numbers on the bridge you can see from the tractor. Divide this amount by the number of inches on the height allowance sign, this will give you G.
You should now have all the coordinates to find the final cache @ N 55.AE.GDA and W 004.DF.BCD
Be advised the last few hundred yards are narrow with no parking so please leave your car at a suitable location and walk the last bit.
