Central VA Spring Fling Event Cache

• What? Crozet Cache Crew Spring Fling Event Cache
• Where? Breakfast at the Trading Post in North Garden,VA
• When? Saturday April 10th Breakfast is served from 6:00am until 10:00am...show up when you can between those hours and have some fun!
  I will be handing out the corrected coords for my caches at 8:00am at the Crossroads Store...no sooner, so don't ask!
• Why? 'cause beeing cooped up all winter is no fun and we all wanna get some cache on!

A few things

1. Camping-Check out KOA if you make a reservation ask for Jane & tell her that you are a geocacher! (so that you can get a discount)Please e-mail if you have questions.

2. Travel Bugs-blmills is getting together an order for some uncirulated bugs. E-mail him for further on that...Please feel free to bring any and all bugs that you have for a bug exchange at the event. I will be traveling out West in May and will be glad to move any bugs along that want to hitch a ride!
3. Breakfast- The Crossroads store only holds 40 folks in the restaurant...we are getting close to having that many folks at this event. I would hope that we dont have to turn folks away at the door or have a huge line of people waiting to get in. So, I can only make the following sugestion. If you are looking to grab some FTF's...show up at or before 8:00am, eat & socialize, & then run up to the park once the coords are released. If you are more interested in some geocaching fellowship and/or taking it easy show up after 8:00am and take your time over breakfast and then head to the park for some caches!

   Directions to Walnut Creek Park

   From the NE corner of the parking lot at the Crossroads store turn R headed NB on RT 29 (Monacan Trail)
   After 2.5 miles turn R onto Red Hill RD
   Go 3 miles & Turn R onto Old Lynchburg RD
   Go .5 miles and Turn L into Walnut Creek Park

   Shelter #2 is at the end of the only paved road in the park...it is 1.3 miles from the main entrance of the park, on the R side of the parking lot, back in the woods away from the swiming area.
