Geocache Description:

Can be a park and grab or a hilly walk depending on where you park. Camo matchstick container. We didn't need to move any rocks in the wall to place it, so you shouldn't mess with them to find it. Please replace exactly as found.

The Norwich Town Burial Ground is full of so much history and it is so beautiful you could spend all day here. Samuel Huntington was a signer of the Declaration of Independence (1776),the seventh president of the Continental Congress (1779-1781), who later became the 18th governor of Connecticut (1786-1796) Huntington was laid to rest in this very cemetery. Make sure you stop by and take a look at his rather elaborate memorial. Another person buried here is the mother to infamous American traitor, Benedict Arnold. Also be sure to check out the cool steps built in to the wall near the cache. People were much shorter back then, how nice to have an easier way to mount your horse!
