Moving forward Traditional Geocache
AdventureMike: It is with great pride and a lil sadness that I am archiving this cache. My fabulous wife Julie has moved forward! I am so proud of her for beating her fear of heights! We appreciate all the wonderful logs supporting Julie in the past 7 years when this cache was placed. It has become a very popular hike and I have had muggle issues.

Park at the Sugar Loaf Trailhead parking lot. This cache is at the summit of this popular trail in Sedona. Red Rock pass is required to park. Please stay on marked trail following the cairns. Julie and I noticed families with children easily walking up this trail, so don't be tempted to scale the cliffs to arrive at the cache; stay on the trail!
My wife Julie has been afraid of heights for most of her life. Since moving here to Sedona we have taken baby steps in beating this fear. Julie realized that this fear will keep her from enjoying some beautiful places here in the beautiful southwest.
Julie said "I need to Move forward." So I took her to Sugarloaf Summit. She marched up there taking breaks along the way and whispering......"I will move forward."
I was so proud of her for facing her fear. I will never forget her smile when she made it to the top.
This cache was placed here at the top of Sugarloaf Summit to show others who have a fear of heights that with patience and a moving forward attitude you can do it.
When up there, stop to see the beauty all around and get the wonderful feeling of standing on top of the world. I placed some items from my 23 year Air Force career and a picture of our family. I could not have served for 23 years without the support of my wife Julie.
I love you Julianna.
Congrats ropingthewind for the FTF
