Geocache Description:

NEW LOCATION for this cache. A gentle walk through woodland and up to Hanbury church with lovely views across Worcestershire country side.

We suggest you start on car park in Hanbury woods N 52deg 17.101m W2deg 3.841m. Walk through woodland down to a gate N 52deg 16.836m W2deg 3.973m walk past a small pond and up hill to the church. Alternatively parking can be found at Hanbury Church itself at N52 16.653 W002 04.140. The cache is a green ammo box and has been cleaned out and replaced in a different spot to the original because we think the badgers kept playing with it! While there, walk around the edge of the church yard overlooking the views - there is a viewpoint marker showing all hills and distances etc - well worth a look. Also if you want to walk on to Hanbury Hall, walk down the road from the church until you meet a road on your right. You will see a footpath sign leading to the Hall. Replaced cache initially contains : some calling cards (cleaned up) Terry Pratchett paperback book Toy soldier, Dinosaur and some other warrior or other Two xmas bells Bag of euros Bicho the fish TB - we think he got in here while the cache was so wet.
