You need a some-what raised 4-wheel drive to get up to the cache as there is a boulder at the beginning of the road and a few ruts on the way up, other wise, you have to walk to the cache. It's best to stay on the road if you're walking.
Earl Francis died at this spot after a hard fight with the US government. Find out what the battle was about and how he died a tragic death from the cache and the site of it.

The road will take you to Earl Francis' head stone on the left side of the road. If you miss the head stone, the cache has the coordinates in it on the back of the history page.
Be careful due to sharp granite rocks, cat claw, and nasty critters that call the rocks their home!
