Geocache Description:

For cachers that like to putter around

This cache is specifically for the swingin' club of South Florida cachers. I'm sure you'll have a ball finding this one ... it's sure to help iron out the kinks in your cache-finding abilities. Hopefully you won't have to drive a fair way to get to it.

The location is open from 9am to dusk daily, with plenty of parking.

The waypoint listed will take you to a plaque that honors Earnest P. King and Milton Stewart, the two men responsible for the area in which the cache is hidden. This area is a place that my kids and I have enjoyed for some time, a place that's home to a community of folks as nice and as helpful as the geocaching community.

The final waypoint is N 26 9.XXX W 80 9.YYY. To determine the values of XXX and YYY, find the date at the end of the plaque and use that date in the following equations:

N 26 9.XXX
XXX = 478 - day of the month

W 80 9.YYY
YYY = 3004 - year

You are looking for an Army decon container, holding a pen, logbook, and other small trades. You do not have to leave the boundary of the area in which the monument is located in order to find the cache. Don't get in the way of any muggles marching through the area.

-eP

PS: For extra enjoyment as well as an excellent anti-muggle disguise, bring a handful of short irons and a putter with you to the cache. The greens fees are quite reasonable.
