Kerry's Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

renruts: Time to say goodbye to this one. Thanks to all who have found this since it was published in 2009. The main puzzle cache of the series is still out there and has a new cache page puzzle, so go find it!

Took the picture from the cache site. Interesting view of the municipal building.

***This is a traditional cache that has been placed as part of the KKCK puzzle cache series. Together with this cache, there are 3 other caches that you will need to find in order to obtain coordinates to the KKCK puzzle cache if you so choose.***

Hi, my name is Kerry and this cache is part of the Kerry, Karey, Carrie, Kerry puzzle cache. We are all members of PAGA and have been talking for a few months about each placing a cache that would contain a clue for a 5th cache. We all live in different areas, so getting our 4 caches, plus the final puzzle, may take several trips.

Keeping that in mind, my cache is located in Upper St. Clair and you can make a day of caching in this area while collecting my part of the puzzle.

This cache is an .50 cal ammo can that started with a bunch of books and a few other trinkets. Feel free to trade a book if you would like or even borrow one and return when you are done reading it. Also included with the logbook is a FTF prize containing some geocaching things.

To start this search, park at the suggested coords, cross the bridge and head up behind the batting cages. It may appear that there is parking closer, but the cache is not accessible from that parking!!! NOTE THE TERRAIN RATING!! There is no need to go wading up to your knees in water or scaling a cliff! Please be safe and enjoy your walk. When this was placed, there was another cache along the route: Geocaching 101- Grade 1. If you haven't found it yet, this would be a great time!

The terrain might be a bit tricky...wouldn't suggest doing this in a mini skirt wearing flip-flops, but to each his own. There are some steep spots and on a wet day it could be slippery. Be very careful. From the parking the cache is less than a quarter of a mile.

terrain raised from 2-3 after reading alanfreed's log. In the growth months this is a nice bushwhack and if you take a wrong step, you could find yourself going down a big hill! Have fun and be careful!
