Geocache Description:

Test your skills on the back roads of Powassan. Don't get lost! Good thing you will have your GPS as it is easy to get turned around on the maze of concession roads between Powassan and Rutherglen. Check out Clear Lake just west of the cache as there is a really nice beach on this spring-fed Lake. Note: this cache is not accessible by car during the winter (only a 8 km hike on snowshoes or by snowmobile)

This cache was placed March 6/04 during a 4 day District Winter Scout Camp. It was a fabulous evening. With a full moon we didn't need flashlights even though it was 9 PM. Enjoy the cache, as it is a fairly easy find.

The cache originally contained:

  • 3-magnets,

  • 3-crests,
  • 1-Scouts Canada sticker,
  • 1-Oscar Meyer Wiener Whistle,
  • 1 storage tin, 2-key chains,
  • 2-Winter camp medallions,
