This is a nice little park just before Bradenton across from the Manatee Civic Center. There is parking before and after the cache area.
Palmetto Estuary Preservation Project Park. Dropped off a fairly good size cache, I have found that I like recyclying containers for the caches, goes along the lines of the CITO. You can park at the light for a quick snatch and go, it's not marked no parking but it's up to you if you want to take that chance. Or you can park in the parking area just North or South of the light and take that nice little 1/4 mile hike back up the trail which I highly recommend. There are bathrooms here as well, and some nice areas to check out at the estuary. With this short hike to the cache you can see, smell, and hear lots of wonderful things! Check out the info signs along the way. This is a cache large enough to handle most travel bugs. Please cover as well or better, and be careful to close the lid tight on this to keep it waterproof, thanks!

This area gets all kinds of trash washed up and could use a little CITO on the way back out. Bring a bag and help if you can.
Cache moved to more of an open area, so please try to cover back up so that muggles don't find it and throw it away as trash. Thanks!
