Liberty Gardens is home of Freedom Plaza it features several points of interests. Four kiosks house over 30 Charters of American Freedom documents.. A Battlefield Cross Sculpture reflects the fallen soldier. Central focus in the Freedom Plaza is a Veteran’s Memorial Wall that includes the names of fallen soldiers back to WWI from Jackson and Madison County. A decorative, round, concrete replica of the Tennessee Flag, surrounded by a ‘seating wall’ and accenting landscape, will frame the Veteran’s Memorial Wall. The walking trail connects to the Freedom Plaza creating fluid movement for school field trips and visitors. A cannon display coordinated by the Marine Corps League Capt. Jack Holland Detachment #735 is anticipated in the near future.
