Cache with a view Traditional Cache
Trove Rover: Well, I have to say that I have many fond memories of this place and I was happy to have it be the first place I ever put a cache. I will take with me the nights I spent looking at the city lights, the memories of watching the Northern Lights as the moon lit up the snow and the awesome group of Alaska Cache Dashers that came up here to find gold [;)]!! I'm sure there will be many more memories here over the years but they will not be of doing maintenance of this cache. Time for this one to go......I hope all who have found it have taken with them something to remember!

Cache is located directly off the path that takes you to the Anchorage overlook station off of the Glen Alps parking area.
This is a fee parking facility but there are a few free 15 min parking slots designated for people wanting to check out the view. Trail to the cache is paved and should be an easily accessible year round. I recommend doing this one late at night for two reasons: 1)High muggle factor during the day, 2) you'll see when you get there! If you choose to do this at night, bring a flash light! The lights you'll see won't help you at all. If you opt for the daytime find, all I ask is that you take great care in finding and replacing the cache. This is my first cache hide, Enjoy!
