Ett antal Jättegrytor i Kärringboda naturreservat.
Där allmän väg slutar finns en stor parkering med rastplats och handikappanpassad toalett.
Följ den gulmärkta stigen som börjar vid toaletten.
Efter 400 meter hittar du grytorna på höger sida.
I gamla tider trodde man att jättar använde dessa grytor och lagade mat i.
Inte för så länge sedan ansåg man att dessa grytor bildades av att en sten slipade ut dessa när inlandsisen drog sig tillbaka vid sista istiden.
En annan teori som man idag sätter större tro till är den så kallade kavitationsteorin.
Enligt denna skulle vattenmolekylerna inne i det kraftigt virvlande smältvattnet ha
övergått i gasform och bildat ångbubblor med åtföljande enorma volymförändringar.
