Us UOTrackers seem to be laying low lately, so it's time
we had some fun!
Come join us on Saturday May 5th at the Spann Hammond
Park in Beech Island South Carolina (directions at the bottom
of page) for some CITO de Mayo food, fellowship, fun and of course
a CITO (Cache in Trash out). We'll be getting together at 3:00 and
plan to be here until the sun sets (roughly 8:00).
(There are no
bathrooms at this site so plan accordingly)
So I mentioned food, yes please bring a dish to share, it
doesn't have to be Mexican inspired, but it would be cool if it
was! When you know that you are coming please post a note to this
listing with the food dish you plan to bring so that there aren't
too many duplicates! We will provide something to drink, maybe a
non alcoholic Sangria, and a dish, a funky Mexican dish I made up
all by myself! We will have a pavilion with 4 picnic tables and a
grill (should someone want to use it). So you may want to bring a
collapsible chair or two in case we run out of room!
OK, so food, check! Now Fellowship! Well that's you of
course. We don't care if your new to caching or a seasoned vet.
Let's just get together and have some fun. If you can't stay for
the CITO that's ok, but we'd love it if you could.
Food, check, fellowship, check...FUN!!! We'll have a
piñata with some treats for the kids as well as some caching themed
items. There will be a costume contest, you know you want to dress
up and have some laughs! There will also be a scavenger hunt, and
some other little things if we think of them. PLUS we'll also have
some BRAND NEW cache pages with us!
After all the food and fun we'll get down to work to
clean up this wonderful park. Please bring gloves to pick up the
garbage and we'll try to have some extra's as well. Trash bags will
be provided. Bug repellant would be a great idea to have on
hand (I'll try and have some extra too).
