Quick cache and dash. Nano, log only BYOP. Be careful pulling off the road. There's a dirt road just past the cache that is better for parking.

friends gather summer evening
wheels squeal - bragging rights
This scene played out along rural roads on many summer evenings. Kids gathering, muscle cars from another era paring off. Engines rev, tires smoke and then squeal as the cars take off down the quarter mile. The winner's prize....bragging rights until the next challenge.
The burns outs have long been paved over. There are a few more houses at the end of the quarter mile. Times have changed. The kids are grown. The cars are more likely to be found at car shows than the quarter mile.
