Geocache Description:

Very easy walk, children and dogs will enjoy. Be sure to bring your camera!

This cache is near Sengakuji Temple, famous for the 47 Ronin Samurai who avenged their master's death and then committed seppuku. Their graves and a small museum are located here. There is a narrow, winding footpath that connects the temple to "Enoki dori" (Two Huckleberry Trees Street). Along the way is an old water pump that is still in working order. Many people feel nostalgic walking down this narrow path and seeing the pump that reminds them of life as it was in Japan not so long ago. Near this "treasure", but hidden along the pathway is the cache. It is a very narrow pathway so don't be confused if your GPS reading says it is on the other side of the pathway walls - it isn't. After you find the cache and explore the temple and maybe even buy a souvenier, have a rest in the children's park across the street.
