Start dieser Tour ist der Parkplatz der Erichhütte am Mühlbacher Sattel. Aufstieg zur Erichhütte und dann weiter nach oben bis zum Einstieg am Hohen Sattel (etwa 2200m). Von hier an folgt man den Drahtseil in steten Auf und Ab bis zum Gipfel des Hohen Kopfs (2875m). Von hier lohnt sich der kurze Abstecher zum Hochkönig-Gipfel mit dem Matrashaus.
Der Cache ist am Gipfel des Kematsteins (2772m) versteckt. Die Steine rund um die Box bitte wieder gut verkeilen. Von unten wirkt dieser Gipfel wie der letzte Aufschwung, tatsächlich ists aber noch ein gutes Stück bis zur Hochfläche.
Zum Steig: lang, anspruchsvoll und spektakulär, bewertet mit D. Der grosse Höhenunterschied (inkl. Gegenanstiege ca. 1800 hm), die Tatsache das die schwierigsten Stellen erst am Ende des Steiges zu finden sind und der lange, ebenfalls recht alpine Abstieg fordern einiges vom Begeher. Wer sich schon im unteren Teil überfordert fühlt sollte unbedingt den einzigen Notabstieg auf etwa 2500 m Höhe ins Birgkar nutzen. Klettersteig Set und Helm sollten selbstverständlich sein. Wer den Flying Fox machen will muss zusätzlich noch einen Sicherheitskarabiner (Karabiner mit Schraubverschluss) und eventuell eine kurze Bandschlinge mitnehmen. Wenn ihr eine Seilrolle mitnehmen wollt, muss diese für Seildurchmesser von 14mm geeignet sein.

Start this tour on the parking place of the Erichhütte on the Mühlbacher Sattel. Ascend to the cottage and then further up to the beginning of the Via Ferrata on the Hohen Sattel (approx. 2200m). From here on follow the fixed ropes going up and down the ridge up until the summit of the Hohen Kopf (2875m). The short trip to the Hochkönigsummit with the Matrashaus should not be missed.
The cache is hidden on top of the Kematstein (2772m). Make sure the rocks around the box are jammed tightly in place, so it can't fall down. Viewed from below the Kematstein summit looks like the last ascent until you reach the plateau, when in reality there is still quite some distance to the endpoint of the route.
This route is long, demanding and spectacular - Rating: D. The large total height difference (1800 height meters), the fact that the most difficult sections of the climb are in its last quarter and the long, alpine descent make this a pretty difficult endeavor. If you are not sure you are up to the task, take the only possible exit route at 2500m into the Birgkar. Bring a Via Ferrata Set and a helmet, and - if you want to do the Flying Fox - a locking carabiner with a short sling. If you want to bring a rope pulley it has to support iron ropes of 14mm diameter
