This cache is named for Pooky who loves little known places like
this. I chose this spot because it is surprisingly remote but
provides nice views and solitude. I think you’ll enjoy the views
and the rock formations near the cache. You can follow a trail that
will get you close to this location from either the north or the
south. Approaching from the park to the North will give you the
best views. Please take the extra time to find a trail to get
you close to this cache rather than following a straight line
approach.
As is the standard for all my caches, you don’t need to move any
rocks, branches, limbs, or vegetation to see the cache. (Heck,
you don’t need to touch or move anything to see the cache!)
It is in open view but is somewhat camouflaged (it does have a
green Geocaching.com sticker on the outside). The cache contains
some small items of swag and can be found in winter conditions.
