Roughly 350ft elevation gain up some steep trails that you may share with horses. Some nice views reward you.
Cache is on the smallish size, an overgrown vitamin capsule about 12 inches long and 4 inches in diameter.
There are several trails that will take you to the cache but the most accessible starts at the big locked gate on Browns Canyon Road. There is a Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy signpost at the gate. Park at N34 17.235 W118 35.517 and you will be on your way. Distance to cache from this point is roughly 1.3 miles.
