NorCal Small Towns ... Challenge Mystery Cache
retiredprof: In light of geocaching's recent changes to the publishing rules, I am archiving all 150 of my challenge caches. I am a retired psychology professor, not a computer programmer. I am simply unable to comply with the new geochecker rules. I am sad that I have to do this. For those who have already begun any of my challenge caches, please note that you can still log archived caches. If you have any problems with this decision, please contact the geocaching authorities so that your suggestions may be considered.

The cache is located along the east side of the Feather River. Park at the yellow gate (394/654) and hike south on the levee. After .15 miles veer west onto the river trail and hike about a mile. When you arrive about 15 yards north of ground zero, turn east and walk thru the narrow opening in the bushes until reaching a dead fall. Then turn south and walk thru the hidden trail "tunnel" for about 20 yards until reaching the end...and the cache.
I find myself caching thru a group of pleasant farm towns here in the north valley. Now it's your turn. You must find 25 caches, 5 with Colusa in the title, 5 with Yuba City in the title, 5 with Marysville in the title, 5 with Wheatland in the title, and 5 with Lincoln in the title. No plurals or other variation of these words, no lab or locationless or event caches, and only one cache from a series is allowed. Please include three different types (icons) of caches in/on your list. See my examples below. And I hope you enjoy your visit to these nice little towns...
