We had placed a cache here a few years back (to the east a little ways) and the area surrounding the cache had been destroyed and replanted. Now, we've decided to bring new life back to this cache and this part of State Center. To the south you will find the West Marshall HS and football field, home of the Trojans. The school has had immense success in athletics, especially football when they were crowned Class 1A State Champions in 1999. The school's colors are black & gold. West Marshall Community Schools serve not only State Center, but also the surrounding towns of Clemons, St. Anthony, Melbourne, Rhodes, Albion and unicorporated rural ares in the western part of the county.
