The cache is at the posted coordinates - but you must qualify to log it (sign the log anytime, but meet the requirements before you log the Find)


John Herschel Glenn, Jr. (born July 18, 1921) is a former United States Marine Corps pilot, astronaut, and United States senator who was the first American to orbit the Earth and the third American in space. Glenn was a Marine Corps fighter pilot before joining NASA's Mercury program as a member of NASA's original astronaut group. He orbited the Earth in Friendship 7 on February 20, 1962. After retiring from NASA, he entered politics and represented Ohio in the United States Senate from 1974 to 1999.

Glenn received a Congressional Space Medal of Honor in 1978. He was inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame in 1990. On October 29, 1998, he became the oldest person to fly in space, and the only one to fly in both the Mercury and Space Shuttle programs, when at age 77, he flew on Discovery (STS-95). As of 2012, Glenn and M. Scott Carpenter are the last living members of the Mercury Seven.

I hid this in Glen Park (I know, it isn't Glenn Park...but oh well). Now to log the find, you must find caches in ten straight days and in an order familar to John Glenn: 10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1.

That is in ten consecutive days, you must find and log caches in that order. On Day One, find and log 10 caches. On Day Two, find and log 9 caches. Day Three you must find and log 8 caches. Continue on to the tenth day where you find and log 1 cache. Then Blast Off to this cache!!!

Now to be clear, and to comply with Groundspeak guidelines, you don't have to find "exactly" the number for the specified day, but you do need to find "at least" that number. For instance, on day three, so long as you find at least 8 caches, feel free to find more - no need to stop at 8, but you need to be able to list at least 8 for that day in your bookmark list or log. That means if you alrady have ten straight days of finding 10 caches per day, you qualify!

Any cache type counts (including events) and you could have found them at any time....just so long as the consecutive days are met. Please provide a bookmark list or a list in your log.
