Geezer99: The event was more work than I ever expected, primarily because of where we are. It turned out even better than I had hoped with half of the people in attendance being newbies. Most of the newbies have gone on to find other caches in the area with the guidance of the “seasoned” cachers. The success for the event can be directly attributed to the contributions from wonderful geocachers and geocaching organizations across the United States. There are several geocachers here in Iraq who could not attend due to duty requirements or by being assigned at another base. Accolades came in from around the world from military and civilian sources. To all , thanks for making this game interesting and fun.
