Geocache Description:


Join Darksky1 and myself for a leisurely paddle up South Hogan Creek.

This will be a very non-formal event.  Paddle up the creek as far as you want and turn around whenever you want.  I'm sure Darksky1 and myself will not want to go much further than about three miles upstream.  I have it on good authority that this creek is just back waters to the Ohio River and has no current, basically a very narrow lake.  Put in point and take out point are at the same location and very close to the posted coordinates.

We will meet at the posted coordinates at 10:00 AM and get on the water as soon as possible.  We will not be able to provide any kayaks or canoes, you are on your own on that.  Please remember that personal flotation devices are required in Indiana.

I'm giving this a 5 star terrain rating since water craft is required.  However, if you just want to show up at the start time to say hello, that is fine.
