Geocache Description:

Route 611 off Highway 80.

We continue to attempt to bring you to some of Southwest Virginia's most scenic but little known waterfalls. This cache is number eighteen. We are running out of falls so this will be the last in the series. This whole area is beautiful. It has everything. There is the big falls that stretch across the entire river. The falls are not particularly high but very wide. You will also see a small waterfall across the river that empties into the North Fork. As a bonus you will see a very old but usable swinging bridge. It is posted but the owner who gave permission will let you walk the bridge. Topping everything is the mountain across the river which frames the whole scene.

Sorry folks, there were very limited hiding places therefore this one has to be a micro. It is a camo-taped match holder. There is only room for a log so please bring something to write with. Also, it is a good one to bring your camera.

Please park at the given parking spot. The cache is just a short walk up the road from here.

NOTE: We are planning a special award for completing the entire series. Nothing drastic but something for your efforts and to remember what you accomplished. We will watch the logs but let us know when you have done it!
