Welcome Back to the 2nd Annual Picnic in the Ark!!! We had so much fun last year (except for the heat), that we just had to do this again! Trying earlier in the summer to make things a bit more comfortable for everyone.
This year's theme is 'Scavenger Hunt'.....come hungry and ready to eat first and then the hunt will begin approximately 12:30 pm. (If you have a digital camera or phone with a camera, please bring it!)
We will be providing burgers & hot dogs and asking that everyone that is able please bring a side dish and post with your Will Attend what you plan to bring..i.e. Salad, dessert, veggies.....remember we don't want a dozen platters of deviled eggs....Yuck!!!!! Mr. RDM07 would disagree with that, but you won't break my heart. Ha Ha! Anyways, if you aren't able to bring anything then PLEASE don't let that stop you from coming!!!! There will be enough for everybody I assure you.
If the weather isn't already too warm, we will have an outside fire going for anyone who wants to do their own weenie roast and S'Mores....yummy!
As with any outdoor geocaching adventure, come prepared with your GPS, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Tennis Shoes (flip flops not recommended). If anyone wants to swim/boat/fish then also come prepared for that. ALL children need to have a life vest if they want to swim and will need constant parental supervision.
In the case of rainy weather, come on out and we will move the party indoors!
Hope to see lots of familiar faces and get to meet even more new cachers we haven't had the pleasure of getting to know yet! And feel free to bring a non-geocaching friend and we will all try to convert them into this addictive obsession.
