This easy P& G cache was "prompted" by haisu in the Roadtrip's Send Off cache!! Thanks for getting me to FINALLY set one out!!! =)
I've been dying to start a cache, but just haven't gotten around to it. Thanks to our find at Roadtrips Send Off, I felt obligated! I placed this cache in honor of my mother, Betty Sharp, who passed away early and unexpectedly. She was not only my mother, but my dearest and closest friend and I can't express how deeply she is missed or how her being gone has effected my life.
This is an easy P & G. You should be able to throw a rock from your car to hit it. It's a small cache with paper, several small trinkets and something that certain collectors may appreciate if they are the FTF. You will need, however, to bring your own pen. The container is BRIGHT in color, about five inches long and somewhat tubular in shape. It should be relatively simple to locate, however, the trees may do a number on your GPS. My cousin, Janie, and I had two brand new Magellan GPS's sitting side by side and they both had DIFFERENT readings!! Not sure what THAT was all about?! Anyway, we coordinated several times and these are the closest we could get them to read. We hope that you enjoy and please let me know your thoughts online. NOTE: I've included a tip for those that think that they need it, expecially since the GPS's were weirding-out. From my slight experience, the clues that I have read in the past were either TOO obvious or completely useless. I hope that, if needed, this helps. Don't use it unless absolutely necessary, as it should be a relatively easy find. I tried not to make it too simple for you, but want it to actually be able to help. I find that reading the other caches comments are usually the most helpful, but since there aren't any at this time, I wanted to at least leave you with something that gets you in the right direction. Again, I appreciate any and all feedback. I can handle constructive critisism well, but since it's my first, please try not to beat me up too bad!!! =) Happy Caching!! I miss you Mom!!!!!
