I strongly suggest you have a truck or SUV to tackle
these caches. The Harrison West FSR is pot holed, and rough in
stretches where it goes up steep hills over bare hard ground. This
is not the best place for your average grocery getter to have a
flat tire or break down.
On the day I planted this cache this was as far north as I could
get due to snow on the road. The snow here was 6 inches deep to
start with, and got progressively deeper the further you went. Time
to call it quits and plant the cache at the closest good
location.
In this case it was beside a noisy, unnamed creek that came off
a hill side and flowed under the road, all the while looking for a
route to Harrison Lake below.
Cache is an ammo can filled with mostly auto-related items;
please keep your trade in the spirit of the cache.
Cache hide can be seen from the bridge, and some scrambling
uphill is required from the road to the cache.
