This is a nice easy one,along the Lancaster canal tow path there are a couple of parking spots for this cache but for the shortest walk,(less than ten mins' ) park at the northern terminus of the canal ,which is half a mile north east of the village of Viver.After visiting cache you could continue your walk for about half an hour along the pleasant tow path to Crooklands,where they do free short canal boat trips on Sundays in the summer,all they ask is for a donation
