A well worn trail circles the area. It heads out towards 60 foot cliffs overlooking Moeckel's Pond, and then loops back to the parking lot. This will take you about 20 minutes round trip if you just do the cache, or about 30 minutes of walking round trip if you include the cliffs. The cache is in a clear rubbermaid container. Please sign in and take a picture, and I will post them later.
Deer Leap - 54 acres of public conservation land, with a dusk to dawn curfew. Public access and parking can be found by taking Range Rd to Marblehead Rd to Woodbury Rd. Woodbury Rd is a dirt road. Parking lot is on the left at N42 46.040, W71 17.820.

The cache contains a couple of matchbox cars, various key chains, a red blinking light, and some oversized paperclips.

After finding the cache, continue down the path for another 5 minutes to enjoy the view from the cliffs at N42 45.960, W 71 18.222, but be sure to keep the kids close. From the cliffs you can return along the same path, or take the one to the left to complete the circle.

More information on the area can be found in a booklet called "Walking in Windham", available at the Windham library.

This cache is very wet. It was full to the top with water. I poured the water out, but everything but the log book is soaked. The cover is cracked, so water is going to keep geting in.

Just a short note for the King. Trail before Bushwack. Loved this area. The rock formations were amazing. I will be back to explore when I have more time. TFTC
