Geocache Description:

This is a cache designed to be accessible with a jogging stroller. This cache is for families who want to go to Iron Mountain, but have to think about strollers. The trail has a couple of short steep sections, but we got through just fine.

This is our first placed cache. It is a part of the Iron Mountain Trail system in Poway. There is a connector that joins the two trailheads before going up the mountain. It is an easy trail perfect for families. We left from the Ellie lane parking lot, and it was about 1.2 miles from there. I suspect it is about the same distance from the Poway Road trailhead, and the terrain may be a little easier. This cache is geared towrds families with small kids. It is in a pile of rocks at the given location. We put it in a medium sized clear container. It contains stuff donated by our own littlest Hurkey:A DiaperBaby wipesDesitin creamA Selection of baby toysBaby Einstein CDLogbook and pencilEnjoy!
