Geocache Description:

I wanted to take you as close as possible to the Flintshire Bridge but the public footpath just stops and there is no pedestrian access over the bridge. The cache is accessible via all-terrain bike or walking.

The bridge's stastics are Tower Height 118m, main Span 194m, Navigational Height 18m and Overall Length 960m.
It was officially opened on the 8th March 1998 and there is a plaque (see waypoint) which was unveiled by Her Majesty The Queen accompanied by H.R.H The Duke of Edinburgh.

Further information on Flintshire Bridge

There is a short stay carpark where I was advised to park (see waypoint) max 2 hours.
