Geocache Description:

The cache is placed in Westwood Woodland Park. There are two large car parks next to the entrance of the woodlands. Car park co-ords N50°52.968 W001°21.976 . We saw three Deer within minutes of leaving the car park. So keep your eyes peeled.

Westwood Woodland Park is 180 acres of woodland and grassland with impressive views over Southampton Water and the city. It lies between the medieval remains of Netley Abbey and Weston Shore. There are two waymarked trails, many benches and a picnic site. It’s an easy stroll mostly around well surfaced paths. In a few areas with heavy rain it might get a bit muddy ( only time will tell ). Lots of trees around so Gpsr will jump about a bit, but there are quite a few clearances to help find your position. No need to leave the path until you are within 20ft of the cache.You are looking for a 3litre box, which has the usual type of contents.
