Geocache Description:

This cache is in a covered container with baggie containing logbook and pen. The terrain is usually dry but during rain can be pretty wet. Please replace the cache as found to ensure it will not be grabbed by the many children Muggles in the area and also not float away in high tide.

This series of caches is to mark tornados that have struck all over Texas. The attached website has a path of every major torando that has struck Texas in the past 80 years. I will place this cache along the path of any given tornando and give you a brief description of the tornando.

This cache is along the path of not only one, but two tornados in the last 60 years.

#1 - This F2 tornado struck 8/12/1958, causing 0 fatalities and 0 injuries. The tornado moved west to east for 3.0 miles, reaching an estimated 298 yards in width.
The damage code shows a value of 3.0. From 1996, this is tornado property damage in millions of dollars. Prior to 1996 this is a categorization of tornado damage by dollar amount.
