Geocache Description:

Opened in 1989, this "Little Zoo that Could" is a favorite place for our family to visit. It allows us to be closer to animals than average zoos. Our family loves the many animal encounters they offer.  heart

Tell us about your adventures there. Depending on the time you go, you might hear a lion roar! Watch out for muggles.

Admission is not required to find this cache, but we highly recommend a trip inside. They are open daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will need to pull its tail to find this small box. Please be sure to leave out a small bit of tail. There is room for small items. BYOP

If you are retrieving this cache at night, beware that they have recently added a gate to N Zoo Dr. You can still assess it on the other side, closer to the mini golf and seafood place. Please note the zoo workers are very friendly and enjoy people coming to find it.

Congrats to DoTheNumbers and LeapingLeopard for the second first find of the day!
