Geocache Description:

Welcome to not so beautiful Tacony Creek Park.

Saturday, March 22 : 9am - 11am : CITO TIME!
Fling some trash and welcome the Spring!

This CITO event will serve the Olney Community and this little park on the boulevard.
The park is used by children, families, community groups, bus takers, short cut takers and the usual urban suspects.

Bags are provided as with coffee, drinks, bagels and donuts but BYOG : Bring Your Own Gloves! Wear long pants and prepare for early mosquitos and nettles. We will Cito from the coords up to the North into the park.

Incentive caches? Always a possibility!

Come and help create a greener, more playful and enjoyable spot to enjoy in our urban city. Thanks.

I love it when a cache comes together, NLIH!
Terrain and Difficulty are variable. Its not just a walk in the park but most everyone could do it. There could be needles and such so just know before you go! About Spring & The Vernal Equinox : The date (near March 21 in the northern hemisphere) when night and day are nearly the same length and Sun crosses the celestial equator (i.e., declination 0) moving northward. In the southern hemisphere, the vernal equinox corresponds to the center of the Sun crossing the celestial equator moving southward and occurs on the date of the northern autumnal equinox. The vernal equinox marks the first day of the season of spring. The right ascension at the vernal equinox originally was in the constellation Aries and the point of crossing was known as the first point in Aries (now actually in Pisces because of precession Eric Weisstein's World of Physics).
